- Your team will be in charge of developing regular financial reporting, analytics, forecasting, simulation, modelling, and automation tools in collaboration with Finance and Engineering partners, in order to produce accurate financials, enable Decision Intelligence, and lessen the reporting burden on analysts.
- To guide the most effective use of financial and human capital resources and to foster accountability, you will manage the Cloud P&L, lead modelling, forecasting, and automation initiatives, and oversee data science programs.
- This intriguing position will significantly affect how Finance works with key Cloud executives and encourages margin accountability.
- You will be creating and optimizing analytical frameworks, data pipelines, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using the most recent industry best practices across ETL, storage, and visualization layers.
- Helping to re-engineer current data pipelines in BigQuery and GoogleSQL, as well as optimizing the front- and back-ends of reporting dashboards and derivative tables.
- Active monitoring of current BigQuery / GoogleSQL data pipelines, and rapid response to feature requests from stakeholders.
- Writing or automating unit testing, confirming and supplying reports later on, and coordinating refresh cycles and definition.
- Creating and maintaining non-technical documentation on model usage and data management.
- Tracking performance indicators, spotting trends, and providing quick, accurate reporting and analysis to the financial and business leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working professionally in a field related to data analysis (BI, data scientist, FP&A, quantitative analyst).
- Proficiency with at least one of the following: a research platform (Colab/Jupyter), Google Spreadsheets, or Excel, and a data visualization tool (Data Studio, Looker, Tableau).
- Intermediate knowledge of R, Python, and/or Javascript is advantageous.
- Having previously built, managed, and used Big Data pipelines (Bn+ records).
- Strong communication skills, especially the ability to succinctly and methodically explain complex findings to a non-technical audience.
- Familiarity with Google, Cloud, and FP&A.
- Excellent salary of EUR 31 per hour.
